Black ceramic rings are made from titanium carbide, one of the hardest materials on the market second only to Tungsten. Unlike Tungsten that requires a black coating for it's finish The black ceramic ring is black though out no coating to replace years down the line. The only material we have found that can scratch its surface is a diamond.

The making of the Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey Barrel is a fascinating process which can be seen here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JVsNmVQW8Us
The tradition of making Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey begins with a process of aging the whiskey in American white oak barrels, These barrels have been charred, adding a distinct flavor to the whiskey as it ages over several years. The barrels are used again when they are sold to other industries such as the makers of Scotch whiskey in Scotland. We have been able to get used authentic Jack Daniel's Whiskey Barrel Staves which still have the charred surface, we cut them into usable blanks for our rings they are a commemoration of one of America's oldest and finest distilleries.
All our rings are handcraft by me, We seal the wood inlay with several layers of a 2 part water resistant finish (like a hard durable boat finish) and polished to a deep shine.
Before ordering make sure you have the correct ring size, these rings cannot be re-sized after they are made.
All of my designs are "handcrafted" from the design process to applying the final finish When you receive your ring you are getting a one of a kind handcrafted heirloom.
